Two men sentenced in meth case

SIOUX CITY – Two area men have been sentenced to federal prison after pleading guilty to distributing methamphetamine in Cerro Gordo County, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa reported.

The attorney’s office reported that Joseph Hough, 30, of Dakota City, was sentenced to 108 months in prison.

Timothy Lamb, 48, of Fort Dodge, was sentenced to 136 months in prison, according to prosecutors.

Two other people were also sentenced to federal prison for their roles in a methamphetamine conspiracy prosecutors say lasted from January 2011 to January 2012.

Diane Kletsch, 50, of Superior, was sentenced to 87 months in federal prison.

Yolanda Hernandez, 46, of Donna, Texas, was sentenced to 109 months in prison.

All four pleaded guilty in October 2012 to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, according to the attorney’s office. The sentences were imposed by U.S. District Court Chief Judge Linda R. Reade.

According to prosecutors, Hough and Lamb received methamphetamine and resold it to numerous people. Kletsch received the drug from Hernandez and resold it.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department and the Webster County Drug Task Force assisted in the investigation.
