Troutwine faces drug charges
Daniel Lee Troutwine, 37, of 208 Fourth Ave., N.W., in Dayton was charged with conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance, methamphetamine, in an initial appearance Saturday morning in Webster County Magistrate Court.
Magistrate William Habhab set bail at $50,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing and bond review for Feb. 15.
According to the criminal complaint, the charges stem from a Sept. 25, 2012, incident at his home. The house at the address listed for Troutwine in Dayton was destroyed in a fire on Jan. 11. He was living in it at the time of the blaze.
Conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance is a Class C felony. It’s punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and/or a $50,000 fine.
