Mental health night planned at BB games
Slam the Stigma of Mental Health will be the theme of a mental health awareness night scheduled in conjunction with the basketball games at Fort Dodge Senior High School Monday.
The basketball action will begin at 4:45 p.m. with the junior varsity games, followed by the varsity girls game at 6:15 p.m. and the varsity boys game at 7:45 p.m.
The Slam the Stigma of Mental Health event will begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m. It will feature information booths from local organizations offering accessible mental health resources in and around Fort Dodge.
People who visit each booth will receive free popcorn or a free cookie at the concession stand from the Booster Club.
