Homecoming parade to be downtown today
The Fort Dodge Senior High School homecoming parade will be held downtown today.
The parade will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Central Avenue and 12th Street. It will proceed west on Central Avenue to the City Square.
Central Avenue between 12th Street and the City Square will be closed to traffic beginning at 2 p.m.
Drivers are asked to avoid parking on Central Avenue this afternoon.
Parking in city lots will be free from 2 to 5 p.m. Also, the two hour time limit for on-street parking will not be enforced during that time.
