Safe Communities town hall on Thursday
The Fort Dodge-Webster County Safe Communities Coalition from the Fort Dodge Community Foundation and United Way will be hosting a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, 1111 Fifth Ave. N.
Detective Alex Winninger, of the Webster County Sheriff’s Office, and Detective Joelyn Johnson, of the Fort Dodge Police Department, will discuss what parents and citizens can do to keep children safe from the dangers they can be exposed to on their phones and computers.
There will also be discussions about starting a Neighborhood Watch program.
