Paving job set for two Webster County roads

Traffic restrictions will be in place on two northwestern Webster County roads this week because of a paving project, according to the Webster County Engineer’s Office.

Fort Dodge Asphalt will be repaving Webster County Road C66 (140th Street) between the Pocahontas County line and a point 1,900 feet east of Webster County Road P29 (Fairbanks Avenue).

Also, Webster County Road P29 between Webster County Road C66 and the Humboldt County line will be repaved.

The work will begin Wednesday.

The roads will be reduced to one lane, with flaggers and pilot cars controlling the flow of traffic.

There will be intermittent closures at the intersections.
