Carnival to benefit Facing Autism

An evening of carnival games and playing in a big mass of foam are planned for Friday evening to raise money for Facing Autism Inc.

But organizers stress that this event is not just for those on the autism spectrum and their families. It is open to everyone in the community.

It will begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Iowa Central Community College East Campus at 2031 Quail Ave.

Admission is $5 per student and a non-perishable food item for each adult.

There will be a variety of carnival games and social drumming. The evening will conclude with an opportunity to play in glow foam. Concessions will be available and prizes will be awarded.

The event is sponsored by Iowa Central Community College and Duck King Fun, of Fort Dodge.

Money raised by this event will pay for future events and projects of Facing Autism Inc.
