Snowmobile, off-highway vehicle registrations set to expire Dec. 31

The Webster County Recorder’s office would like to remind snowmobile and off-highway vehicle owners current registrations expire Dec. 31, 2021.

These may be renewed for the 2022 season for a fee of $17.75. A penalty of $5 will be added to registrations after the expiration date.

All snowmobiles operating on any designated snowmobile trail, public land or public ice must also display an Iowa DNR resident user permit decal for an additional fee of $17.75.

Registrations will only be renewed for the titleholder or immediate family member of the titleholder of the machine.

Be prepared to provide the Recorder’s Office with your driver’s license along with the VIN or IA registration number of the machine being renewed. They are also able to process registrations via phone, mail or the payment drop box located in the alley next to the Courthouse.

If you are interested in receiving a renewal notice via email, email recorder@webstercountyia.org with the subject line “Renewal Email List.” In the body of the email include your name, email address, phone number, and if you would like to be added to the boat, OHV/ATV/SNOW or both lists.

The office can be reached at 515-576-2401.
