The 39th annual Chili Cook-Off presented by the Fort Dodge Chili Lovers Society scheduled for Saturday has been postponed.

Justin Goodno, a long-time organizer of the event, said due to a variety of circumstances, the group felt it would be best to postpone. The Chili Lovers are aiming to reschedule for late February or early March of next year. Goodno said they hope with the extra planning time, they will be able to make the event bigger and better. An official new date will be announced at a later time.
