Webster County road job begins
A repaving job on two Webster County roads began Friday according to the county engineer’s office.
Webster County road C66 (140th Street) from Clare to U.S. Highway 169 will be repaved. Webster County Road P41 (Johnson Avenue) between Webster County road C66 and Iowa Highway 7 will also get a fresh coat of asphalt.
Flaggers and pilot cars will be used, which will allow one lane of each road to be open during the paving process.
There will be intermittent closures at all intersections while the construction is underway. No closure should last more than one hour.
Fort Dodge Asphalt Co. has a $2,371,007.13 contract for the work.
