Audit on AEA released
An audit report on the Prairie Lakes Area Education Agency, based in Fort Dodge, has been released by Schnurr & Co. LLP.
The audit showed the agency’s revenue totaled $25,954,381 for the fiscal year that ended June 30.
That is a .76% increase over the prior fiscal year, the auditors reported.
The agency’s expenses for that fiscal year were $26,025,948.
That is a 5.24% increase from the prior fiscal year. The auditors attributed the increase in expenses primarily due to the agency being able to fully staff hard-to-fill positions.
