Fort Dodge intersection to close
The intersection of South 22nd Street and 12th Avenue South will be closed Thursday and will remain closed for three weeks for a utility project, the Fort Dodge city engineering staff reported.
New sanitary sewers, storm sewers and water mains will be installed. After the pipes are in place, new curbs and gutters will be built and a temporary road surface will be put down. Permanent paving will be put down after the ground has been allowed to settle for about six months.
