Iowa Highway 3 bridge to close
POCAHONTAS — Iowa Highway 3 just west of Pocahontas will be closed to traffic beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, according to the state Department of Transportation.
It will remain closed until mid-September for a bridge replacement project.
Traffic will be detoured using Pocahontas County roads N41 and C49 along with Iowa Highway 4.
Dixon Construction, of Correctionville, has a $1.49 million contract for the job.
