One hurt in I-35 crash
WILLIAMS — A Webster City woman was injured when her vehicle spun out of control on an icy on-ramp to Interstate 35 Friday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol reported that Tiffany Krieger, 33, was taken to VanDiest Medical Center in Webster City following the crash. Information on her condition was not available Friday evening.
The crash happened at 7:53 a.m. on an on-ramp to the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 in Hamilton County, according to the State Patrol.
Troopers reported that Krieger was driving a 2012 Chevrolet. They reported that she lost control of the vehicle on the ice and it spun into the cable barriers near the on-ramp. The vehicle ended up in the highway median facing north.
