A Fort Dodge man was stabbed Saturday afternoon at the Village Green Trailer Court

Police responded at 1:23 p.m. to Village Green Trailer Court Lot 65 after someone stabbed Andy Trusty, 34, inside his trailer home, according to the police department.

Trusty was taken to Trinity Regional Medical Center and was treated for a stab wound to his torso.

“From what the victim said, he was familiar with (the suspect),” said Lt. Joe Bates.

The investigating officers have identified a suspect in this case and are continuing to follow up leads and speaking with potential witnesses.
