Iowa State University Webster County Extension and Outreach will be hosting a Fort Dodge Twilight Vegetable Farm Tour at 6 p.m. Monday, beginning at the office, 217 S. 25th St., Suite C12.

Joe Hannon, ISU Extension and Outreach commercial horticulture specialist, will introduce himself, his services and review the 2015 production season thus far.

After an informal 30-minute discussion, the group will travel to the Richard Buske Farm, 1550 Madison Ave., for a walking tour of Buske’s commercial vegetable farm. While at the farm, Hannan and Buske will address questions on pests, growing conditions and ideas to maximize production and profitability.

This is an opportunity to network with other commercial growers. The program will conclude at approximately 8 p.m. Cost of the program is free, and no preregistration is required.
