Transitional kindergarten roundup will take place at Fort Dodge Community Schools Friday.

Parents/guardians who have a child ready to enter school in the fall (child must be 5 years of age by Sept. 15) and have either chosen TK for their child or are unsure about the decision between TK and kindergarten should call Riverside Early Learning Center, 574-5740, to register the child for a roundup session.

Parents may choose from roundup sessions at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. All sessions will be held at Riverside ELC, 733 F St.

This open house will provide parents and their children an opportunity to visit a TK classroom. TK teachers will be available to answer questions about the program, ensure necessary paperwork is completed and help parents make an informed decision regarding TK for their child.
