FDCSD board to meet Monday
The Fort Dodge Community School District board will have a 6 p.m. meeting Monday at Fort Dodge Middle School, 800 N. 32nd St., in Room 768, on the second floor.
The board will consider the donation of a wrestling mat to the district, hear the Annual Progress Report on the district for 2013-14 and review student achievement goals, and also hear a report on School(s) and District in Need of Improvement status.
Board members will also take a tour of the middle school’s modular lab and hear a presentation from its teachers.
Doug Van Zyl, FDCSD superintendent, will update the board on district communications.
FDCSD board to meet Monday
The Fort Dodge Community School District board will have a meeting Monday at the Central Administration office, 104 S. 17th St.
The board will consider the disposal of district-owned property (a used school bus to a neighboring district), and act on a resolution authorizing sale of district-owned property. Also, the board will have its annual asbestos information meeting and discuss the district’s 2014-15 innovative calendar. Brandon Hansel, FDCSD director of financial services, will have a presentation on the district’s 2013-2014 certified annual report.
