Plants, animals workshop set
A free “Plants and Animals” workshop will be held at the Webster County Iowa State University Extension office at 6:30 p.m. March 24. ISU Extension Horticulturist Yvonne McCormick will discuss plants that may be harmful to pets and children. Also to be covered are tips for making herbal-based pet treats and other ideas to keep children and pets safe and happy.
Master Gardeners will also be on hand to help answer plant-growing questions. Call the Webster County ISU Extension office at 576-2119 for further information or to register for this program.
