The following street closures will impact Fort Dodge traffic:

Central Avenue will be closed to all traffic from 12th Street to 15th Street beginning immediately and through Saturday. Detours will be in place on First Avenue North and First Avenue South until the project is complete. Parking will not be allowed on Central Avenue during the closure period. No parking signs will be posted.

Also until Saturday:

First Street NW from Third Avenue NW to Seventh Avenue NW;

Third Avenue NW, Fourth Avenue NW, Fifth Avenue NW, Sixth Avenue NW, and Seventh Avenue NW between First Street NW and Second Street NW will be closed intermittently through Saturday.

Fort Dodge Asphalt will be performing street resurfacing as part of the 2013 Street Project.

On Saturday, weather permitting, the intersection of Second Street NW and Third Avenue NW will be closed for asphalt repair.
