STRATFORD — The Swedish Immigrant Museum, 819 Goldsmith St., Stratford, is hosting a State Historical Society of Iowa exhibit, “World War I Honor Roll” from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. SATURDAY. Admission is free.

CALLENDER — Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Callender, is holding its annual Garage Sale from 4 to 8 p.m. TODAY and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at the church. Enter through the west door.

RUTHVEN — Palo Alto County Conservation Kids’ Fishing Derby is SATURDAY at Lost Island Nature Center, Ruthven. Registration for ages 15 and under begins at 9 a.m. Kids will go out to a spot of their choice on Lost Island Lake and must return to the Nature Center at 10:30 a.m. with their catch. Prizes will be given for biggest fish. A casting contest will also take place beginning at 10:30 a.m. in front of the Nature Center.

EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto Arts Council presents Classics at the Riviera Theatre at 4:30 p.m. SUNDAY. “Rebel Without a Cause” will be shown. Admission is free.

LEHIGH — The Lehigh United Methodist Church Second Sunday Supper is 5 to 7 p.m. SUNDAY. The menu is a pulled pork sandwich with calico beans, chips, desserts and drinks for a freewill offering. Carryouts will be available by calling 515-359-2329.

CLARION — Festival in the Park is 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. SATURDAY at Gazebo Park in Clarion. There will be food and craft vendors, live music, local performers, kids activities and a parade.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Respect for Life Garage Sale is 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. TODAY and 8 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the Corpus Christi Center, 403 N. Eighth St.

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be holding an ice cream social at 6:30 p.m. Persons attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.

FORT DODGE — Oakland Cemetery Walk, “Historic Stroll Through Oakland Cemetery,” is 7 p.m. TODAY at Oakland Cemetery. A freewill offering will be accepted. Those attending should park at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1436 21st Ave. N. The bus will leave at 6:45 p.m. sharp. There is no parking at Oakland Cemetery. A guide will take those attending to 50 headstones and provide information on each one. All funds raised go to Oakland Cemetery preservation.

FORT DODGE — Oakland Cemetery “See the dead come alive…” is 2 p.m. SUNDAY at the Celebration Center at Friendship Haven, 420 Kenyon Road. Parking will be available at the Fort Museum. Tickets are $7 at the door. All funds raised go to Oakland Cemetery preservation.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 11 N. 25th St.

FORT DODGE — The Blanden Art Festival is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY on the grounds of the Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S. There will be live music with Jive For Five performing at 9 a.m., Salty View’s Acoustic Review at 11:30 a.m. and students of the Gillette Music Academy performing at 2:30 p.m. A puppet show will be presented at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Food will be available. The event is free.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Wrestling Fundraiser is 6 to 9 p.m. TODAY at Community Tap and Pizza, 2026 Fifth Ave. S. Eli Alger and the Faster Horses will perform.

FORT DODGE — A Juneteenth celebration will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at Athletics for Education and Success, 712 Third St. NW. Program will start at 11:30 a.m.There will be food, music and fellowship.
