Funding fairground improvements

-Submitted photo
Proceeds from the Fuel the Thin Blue Line fuel program with Growmark FS were donated to the Webster County Fair Foundation's indoor arena project on Monday. The fair foundation is raising funds to renovate the indoor arena and provide an updated indoor facility for many different events, not only during the Webster County Fair, but year-round. A check in the amount of $1,472.96 was presented to Heather Stewart, a member of the county fair board. The top five contributors of the fuel program were Stump's Snow and Mow, M.S. Pearson Inc., Fort Dodge Ford, Smitty's Lawn & Landscape and Overhead Door Company. Applications to join the Fuel the Thin Blue Line program can be picked up at the Webster County Sheriff's Office or at the Iowa State University Extension Office.
