DAKOTA CITY — Mark D. Helle, 68, of Dakota City, passed away on Tuesday evening, June 28, 2022 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Mark is survived by his wife, Sharon Helle; daughter, Lacey (DeMarcus) Foy; grandchildren, Darius, Shanise, A’Tayla and Kentrell; sisters, Karen Cran and Sue (Frank) Bringleson; brothers, Michael (Charlene) Helle and Gregory (Robin) Helle; sisters-in-law’s and brother-in-law’s, Julie Helle, Alice Helle, Karen (Howard) Ball, Teresa Beebe (Bob Abens), Gail (Mike) Newell and Shelly (Dennis) Goodell, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Mason Lindhart Funeral and Cremation Services in Humboldt. Burial will be in St. Olaf Cemetery in Bode.
