EMMETSBURG — Palo Alto County Family Wellness event is 5 to 8:45 p.m. SATURDAY at Soper Park, Emmetsburg. The event is presented by Zero Suicide Coalition of Palo Alto County.

LAKE VIEW — The annual Black Hawk Lake Fun Run is 1 to 4 p.m. SATURDAY on Black Hawk Lake, Lake View. Registration is $20 per player at The Bar in Lake View from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Players can participate by boat, motorcycle or car as all stops are along the lake.

BARNUM — By The Grace of God Church, Barnum, is holding an Ice Cream Social from 2 to 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the church.

GOWRIE — Gowrie Fall City-wide Garage Sales are TODAY and SATURDAY in Gowrie.

PALMER — The 37th annual Wiegert Prairie Fall Fest is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SUNDAY at the Wiegert Prairie Farmstead, 27575 615th St., Palmer. There will be a church service, music on the lawn, prairie rides, ongoing demonstrations, lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and cowboy coffee, root beer floats, homemade pie and ice cream and kettle corn. Admission is free.

HOMER — The West Central Region Cockshutt and Co-op Club Threshing Bee begins at 8 a.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY in Homer. There will be many displays and demonstrations, swap meet, Lions Club pancake breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, food stand from noon Saturday through Sunday and tractor ride around Brushy Creek State Park at 9 a.m. Sunday weather permitting.

HARCOURT — Faith Lutheran Church, Harcourt, is holding an Ice Cream Social and Bake Sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at the church. Beef burgers, chips, baked beans, pie and homemade ice cream will be served for a freewill donation.

GILMORE CITY — Gilmore City Fun Day begins at 3 p.m. TODAY in Gilmore City. There will be food, beer garden and The Shimon Family Band from 4 to 8 p.m.

FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY behind Sparkle Car Wash, 319 S. 25th St., on the west side of Crossroads Mall.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Lone Tree Revival. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Sunday Vineyard Vibrations from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. Free live music will be provided by Beaver Creek Trio. Food will be available for purchase. The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Bring your lawn chair.

FORT DODGE — Downtown Farm to Fork is SATURDAY in downtown Fort Dodge. Happy hour begins at 4:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $400 per table of six and includes drinks and a five course meal. Cocktail attire is encouraged. Tickets may be purchased at 24 N. Ninth St., Suite D. This event has been postponed.

FORT DODGE — The 20th Honor Flight “Welcome Home” is approximately 10:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Regional Airport, 1639 Nelson Ave.
