Growth Alliance hires new office manager

Health center staffer takes position

An administrative professional at the Community Health Center of Fort Dodge has been named the office manager of the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance.

Deena McCaulley said she has watched the growth of the area for the last several years and wants to be a part of making sure it continues.

”I’m just very excited,” she said.

McCaulley, who is currently the administrative assistant to the CEO and human resources director at the health center, will start in her new job on May 21.

She will replace Kate Stucky, who resigned to become director of operations and finance for Holy Trinity Parish and St. Edmond Catholic School.

”Her past experience matched up very closely with what we were looking for,” said Dennis Plautz, the chief executive officer of the Growth Alliance.

He described McCaulley as a ”get things done kind of person.”

”She had the human resources and accounting skills we were looking for,” added Jill Nelson, the alliance’s community development director.

McCaulley is a graduate of Manson Northwest Webster High School. She earned an associate degree from Iowa Central Community College.

She has worked at the Community Health Center for the past eight years. She previously worked at the Fort Dodge Family Credit Union and Wells Fargo Card Services.

She and her husband, Casey, have three children. They live near Manson.
