Fort Dodge police officers search a man who may have been involved in a fight at the Biltwell Apartments on Thursday. Police were called to the apartments, 106 N. 10 St., shortly before 1 p.m.
for possible shots fired. According to police, information indicated a male had been assaulted and others were leaving the area. When officers arrived, they determined that two males had been involved in a physical altercation, and no shots were fired. One of the males was located on scene, and the other was located a short distance away. One of the males was examined on scene by the Fort Dodge Fire Department for injuries and was immediately released. Officers were later called back to the apartment building to resolve trespassing issues with those involved in the previous incident. Police continue to investigate the incident as an assault. No charges were filed on Thursday.
