A Fort Dodge woman was transported to the hospital after two vehicles collided at the intersection of U.S. Highway 169 and Kenyon Road Saturday afternoon, according to Fort Dodge Police Department reports. The crash occurred when Molly Sanders, 41, attempted to turn left in a Lincoln SUV. As she attempted to turn west, her vehicle struck the rear driver side corner of a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Michael Jungers, 65, of Hospers. Jungers was traveling south. The crash caused minor damage. Jungers was uninjured. Sanders said she may have had low blood sugar, according to the reports. She was transported to UnityPoint Health — Trinity Regional Medical Center to be evaluated. The Webster County Sheriff’s Department and Fort Dodge Fire Department also responded.
