Runners participate in a Halloween fundraiser run for the Holy Trinity Parish food pantry. It was the second year that Maggie Lennon hosted a 5K walk/run to raise money for the pantry. On Saturday there was a timed race. Liam Shannon (No. 4) finished in first place. There was also a costume contest, which was won by a very small but scary dinosaur. Some of the runners from the Humboldt cross country team came to support the event, though they saved their legs for the rest of their season. The event raised about $1,500.
