FD man charged with attempted murder
Police: Bodady cut and stabbed 71-year-old victim
A Fort Dodge man is charged with attempted murder after allegedly cutting and stabbing a 71-year-old victim with a knife early Saturday morning, according to the Fort Dodge Police Department.
Reino Bodady, 37, of Fort Dodge, is charged attempted murder, a class B felony.
Officers were called to 504 N. Third St. at about 4:40 a.m.
When they arrived, they located Bodady at the residence. Inside, the found a 71-year-old woman who had been cut and stabbed with a knife.
The woman was transported to UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Bodady is being held in the Webster County Jail.
