Webster County COVID-19 cases now 13

Webster County Public Health confirmed another positive case of COVID-19 on Thursday afternoon, bringing the county total to 13 cases.

The age range of the individual was not available by press time.

According to WCPH, six of the county’s positive cases have recovered since their diagnosis, while one has died.

A total of 959 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Webster County, about 2.67% of the county’s population, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.

On Thursday, the Iowa Department of Public Health announced 386 new positive cases of COVID-19. Since the pandemic began, 13,675 people have tested positive in Iowa.

Twelve additional deaths were also reported Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 318.
