A Fort Dodge firefighter, center, shovels up debris removed from the second floor apartment at 404 N. Ninth St. following a fire there Monday evening. Fire Department Capt. Jason Vandi said it was a small fire in a closet that was quickly extinguished. There were no injuries. The fire was intentionally set, according to Fire Department reports. It was reported at 6:53 p.m.
