FORT DODGE — Stage Door Productions presents “Forever Plaid” at 7 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY and 2 p.m. SATURDAY at the Opera House, One Museum Road. Tickets are $15 per person and are available at The Fort Museum and Frontier Village. Doors open at 6 p.m. for cocktail hour for 7 p.m. performances and 1 p.m. for cocktail hour for 2 p.m performance.

FORT DODGE — The 28th annual Trinity Hospice Ball is SATURDAY at the Best Western Starlite Village Inn & Suites, 1518 Third Ave. N.W. The ball begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour, followed by dinner and a program at 7 p.m. and dancing at 8:30 p.m. A silent auction will run throughout the evening along with a raffle. The dress code for the event is cocktail attire. Tickets are $50 per person.

FORT DODGE — Knights of Columbus fish fry is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. TODAY at Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St. Dinners are $9 for fried or baked fish and $10 for shrimp or fish and shrimp. The dinners include French fries or baked potato, cole slaw, ice cream and beverage. Grilled cheese is $5 and children’s meals are $5.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Danny Whitson. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding First Free Saturday Family Artmaking from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SATURDAY. On a come and go basis, family groups of adults and children together are welcome to visit the Blanden where an area will be set up for social and creative fun. Groups larger than five must RSVP online or call ahead. There will be freewill donations accepted to purchase a gift card for a local food bank.

FORT DODGE — Jessica McClintock will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. SATURDAY at River Hops Brewing, 1014 Central Ave.

WEBSTER CITY — The Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will present the movie “Lion King” from 10:30 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the library.

EMMETSBURG — Rep. Megan Jones and Sen. Zach Whiting will hold a legislative town hall meeting from 8:30 to 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the Emmetsburg Welcome Center. Coffee will be served.

MANSON — Shore Side Pub & Grub will have its annual customer appreciation party and corn hole tournament beginning at 11 a.m. SUNDAY. Customers can watch the football game, play in a double elimination corn hole tournament.
