MLT Program

Why did you choose to attend Iowa Central?

I wanted to go into a program that I could graduate in two years and be able to go straight into the workforce without having to go to a four-year college. Also that Iowa Central is one of the best community colleges in the state and that it is very cheap.

What classes are you enrolled in this semester?

I’m enrolled in Human Anatomy, Med Terms, Fundamentals of Lab Science, Urinalysis, Intro to Chemistry, and Intro to Chemistry Lab.

Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? If so, what? No

What is your favorite class and why?

Fundamentals of Lab Science because it gives me a real look at what I will doing everyday in my career.

What is your favorite movie?

Fast and Furious series

What advice would you give a senior in high school?

Make sure that you fill out as many scholarships as you can and find what study methods works for you because you’ll need it when going to college.

What has been your favorite moment at Iowa Central so far?

Being able to participate in the labs for my classes.

Future plans?

I would like to stay around here because there are many job opportunities around the Fort Dodge area for my field of study. I also love the community in Fort Dodge.
