Councilman Neven Conrad and Eugene Newsome were the top vote-getters in Tuesday’s primary election for the at-large seat on the Fort Dodge City Council. Both will advance to the Nov. 5 general election.

Conrad received 64.85 percent of the vote, while Newsome received 17.8 percent.

Jim Underwood received 17.13 percent of the vote and will not advance to the general election.
