EAGLE GROVE — Investigators are seeking the public’s help after a stabbing left one man seriously injured one week ago.

On July 10, Eagle Grove police responded to the 400 block of Southeast Second Street, near building 402, according to Scot M. Ely, special agent with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.

Upon arrival, police found a man who had been stabbed, police reported.

“These were very serious injuries,” Ely said.

According to Ely, the episode took place next to a parked car on the street.

Ely said he didn’t know the current condition of the victim other than he is alive.

Investigators are asking the public to keep an eye out for any suspicious vehicles in the area.

“We are still trying to identify all parties involved,” Ely said. “We know they left in a vehicle.”

The case remains under investigation by the DCI, Eagle Grove Police Department, and Wright County Sheriff’s Department.
