FORT DODGE — Farmers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY in the northwest corner of the Crossroads Mall parking lot.

FORT DODGE — The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold a garage sale from 1 to 5 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 1018 First Ave. N. Proceeds go to the charities of the organization and to the building maintenance fund.

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be selling homemade ice cream and fresh-baked cake at 6:30 p.m. People attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Duo Republic. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Sunday Vineyard Vibrations from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. Free live music will be provided by Beaver Creek. Food will be available for purchase. The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Bring your lawn chair.

FORT DODGE — First United Methodist Church, 127 N. 10th St., is holding a Community Manna Meal at 5 p.m. SATURDAY. Bingo will follow the meal.

FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum is holding Alcohol Ink Jewelry at Shiny Top Brewery, 520 Central Ave., from 2 to 4:30 p.m. SATURDAY. There is a limit of 12 participants, minimum of four. The class is for ages 16 and older. The class will include how to choose color combinations, using different tools and techniques and adding embellishments. Students will make a reversible pendant or two pairs of earrings. Cost is $30 for members and $35 for non-members.

FORT DODGE — Lunch on the Square is 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. TODAY at the City Square, 524 Central Ave. A meal of grilled pork sandwiches, chips, baked beans, dessert and water will be served for $6. Entertainment will be provided by Gabriel Alves.

FORT DODGE — Figure 8 Races are 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the Webster County Fairgrounds, 22770 Old Hwy. 169. Grandstand admission is $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 3-12. Pit fees are $30 for car and driver or $20 for a pit pass, must be 16 or older to be in the pits. No food or drink is allowed in the gate.

FORT DODGE — Lizard Creek Blues Society Blues Under the Trees is SATURDAY at Sports Park Raceway. Gates open at 1 p.m., music starts at 2 p.m. Advance tickets are $25 and may be purchased at Access Audio, Availa Bank, HyVee Fort Dodge and Humboldt and Rieman Music. Tickets at the gate are $30. Ages 12 and under are free. There will be performances by Malcolm Wells and the Two-Timers, Joe and Vicki Price, Hamilton Loomis and Heather Newman Band.

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., will hold Create a Constellation at 10:30 a.m. SATURDAY. Teens and adults are invited to create their own constellations and write the constellation’s history.

FORT DODGE — The Fort Dodge Moose Legion is holding a grilled Iowa chop dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. TODAY at the Moose Lodge, 424 First Ave. S. The meal will include two sides for $10 per person. Tickets will be available at the door.

WEBSTER CITY — The Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will present the movie “Missing Link” from 10:30 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the library.

DAYTON — Dayton Wranglers Match of the Broncs Series 2019 is 1 p.m. SATURDAY at the Dayton Rodeo Grounds. The event is free.

LAKE CITY — Village Square Theatre presents “Anne of Green Gables” at 7 p.m. SATURDAY and 2 p.m. SUNDAY at the South Central Calhoun High School auditorium, Lake City. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.

FONDA — Fonda Arts Center presents the student-produced documentary, “Growing Magic: The Mickey Mouse Cornfield Story” at 3 p.m. SUNDAY. There will be a special question and answer session after the showing. Admission and refreshments are free.

GOWRIE — A beef burger dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. SUNDAY at Gowrie United Methodist Church, Gowrie. The menu is beef burgers, salads, bars, coffee and lemonade. A freewill donation will be accepted for John Mike Lizer’s Emmaus trip to Argentina.
