Eagle Grove police continue to investigate stabbing
EAGLE GROVE — Police in Eagle Grove are continuing to investigate a stabbing that was reported in town last week.
The incident was reported on July 10.
According to the Eagle Grove Police Department, on that date, officers and an ambulance were dispatched for a report of an assault.
When officers arrived, they found a person who had been stabbed.
The person was transported by Eagle Grove EMS for treatment, though the Police Department did not reveal which hospital the victim was taken to.
Investigators are not identifying the victim at this time.
Eagle Grove Police Chief Ray Beltran said Thursday that there is no additional information available in the investigation.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Wright County Sheriff’s Department were called in to assist.
