LAKOTA – A Texas man was found dead Wednesday at a construction site in rural Lakota.

The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Department identified the man as Lee Gruver, 51, of Daisetta, Texas.

An ambulance had been dispatched to the scene around 2:20 p.m.

Gruver was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Iowa State Patrol and Iowa Department of Transportation are investigating the case.
