Investigators are on the scene of a Goldfield home at which gunshots were reported Tuesday afternoon.

Wright County Sheriff Jason Schluttenhofer said a neighbor heard gunshots at 722 Pine St. The incident was first reported at 3:50 p.m. and an active investigation remained in progress as of 7:15 p.m.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Department, Eagle Grove Police Department, Iowa State Patrol and Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation were on scene.
