Victory Vertical Piano Project

FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Fine Arts Association in partnership with Friendship Haven presents the Victory Vertical Piano Project TODAY in the Tompkins Celebration Center at Friendship Haven, 420 Kenyon Road. Preshow refreshments begin at 6 p.m. followed by the lecture/recital at 7 p.m. The event is free.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Eagles Dance is 8 to 11 p.m. TODAY at 1018 First Ave. N., third floor ballroom. There will be a dance lesson at 7:15 p.m. Music from the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s along with country music will be played. Admission is $10 per person. The dance is sponsored by Ballroom Buddies.

FORT DODGE — The Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles will hold a garage sale from 1 to 5 p.m. TODAY and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY at 1018 First Ave. N. Proceeds go to the charities of the organization and to the building maintenance fund.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Vineyard Vibrations from 6 to 8 p.m. TODAY. Free live music will be provided by Lone Tree Revival. Food will be available for purchase.

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Sunday Vineyard Vibrations from 3 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. Free live music will be provided by PlanetPassengers. Food will be available for purchase. The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Bring your lawn chair.

FORT DODGE — Aglow International of Fort Dodge & Surrounding Area hosts Cameron Panzi at 10 a.m. SATURDAY at the Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave. Refreshments will be provided.

Karl L. King band concert

FORT DODGE — Karl L. King Municipal Band Concert is 7:30 p.m. SUNDAY at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. There is no admission charge, courtesy of the city of Fort Dodge. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church will be selling homemade ice cream and fresh-baked cake at 6:30 p.m. People attending are reminded to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. No seating is provided.

FORT DODGE — American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Webster County is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. SATURDAY at the City Square.

FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding Youth Art Classes, “Paint & Dance,” SATURDAY. Class for youth ages 6 to 10 years is 10 a.m. to noon and class for youth ages 11 to 16 years is 1 to 3 p.m. Cost is $8 for members and $10 for non-members.

WEBSTER CITY — The Kendall Young Library, Webster City, will present the movie “Dolphin Kick” from 10:30 a.m. to noon SATURDAY at the library.

LAKE VIEW — Stone Pier Summer Concert series presents King Of The Tramps with The Maytags at 5 p.m. SATURDAY at Black Hawk Lake. There is no admission charge. Concertgoers are allowed to bring food and beverages to the picnic-style performances. Food is available for sale with all proceeds directly benefitting the concert series.

RODMAN — Hillbilly Day is TODAY in Rodman. There will be an auction and pork roast dinner benefiting the Rodman Fire Department.

RUTHVEN — Palo Alto County Conservation will hold an Iowa nocturnal animal talk at 8 p.m. SATURDAY at the Lost Island Nature Center, Ruthven.

MOORLAND — Summer Bash Vendor and Craft Show is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. SATURDAY at the Moorland Community Center, Moorland.

DAYTON — Dayton Wranglers: Match of the Broncs Series 2019 is 1 p.m. SATURDAY at the Dayton Rodeo grounds, Dayton. Admission is free.

In Fort Dodge

FORT DODGE — Soldier Creek Winery, 1584 Paragon Ave., is holding Father’s Day Beer, Brats and Bags from 1 to 5 p.m. SUNDAY. There will beverages, brats and bags games. Dad’s will receive a free glass of signature cider, “Ghost Pig.”

FORT DODGE — River Hops Brewing, 1014 Central Ave., presents Tank Anthony Band from 7 to 9 p.m. SATURDAY.

FORT DODGE — First Congregational Church, 1611 Williams Drive, is hosting a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. SATURDAY.
