First responders are on the scene of a serious vehicular accident that was reported on Webster County Road P59 between Quail Avenue and U.S. Highway 20. Otho Fire and Rescue, Fort Dodge Fire Department and Rescue and the Iowa State Patrol have been called to assist.

Two vehicles were involved, and one vehicle caught fire. One vehicle is in the ditch and one vehicle is still on the road. Officials are detouring traffic away from the scene.

Drivers should avoid the stretch of Webster County Road P59 between Fifth Avenue South and U.S. Highway 20 until further notice.
