Mary Moore, a resident at one of Friendship Haven’s town homes, was greeted by a flock of pink flamingos outside her home Monday night. “Here’s the thing,” said Moore. “I love flamingos. I came out and here they were.” Members of the St. Paul Youth Group planted the plastic birds in Moore’s yard and left a message that said, “You’ve been flocked.” Moore had to remind her pet dog, Jill, that the flamingos were, in fact, fake. Moore said Diana Johnson and Brent Johnson were responsible for the decorations. “My friend and I collected pink flamingos,” Moore said. “I used to have 85, now I have about 8. I told them to just leave them here. She added, “Now I might have to flock somebody.”
