Sac City police seek woman for financial crimes

SAC CITY — Investigators in Sac City are looking for a woman wanted for committing a series of financial crimes.

Gail A. Osborn, 27, who was last known to be living in Fort Dodge, is charged with ongoing criminal conduct, a class B felony.

According to the Sac City Police Department, Osborn allegedly knowingly wrote thousands of dollars in bad checks to small businesses in and around Sac City.

The incidents happened over a four-day period in July.

Osborn may be traveling with Brandon Espinoza, who the Sac City Police Department described as either her boyfriend or husband.

It’s alleged that Espinoza may have been with Osborn when she allegedly wrote the bad checks.

The Police Department said Osborn is believed to have lived in Fort Dodge, Gowrie and Pomeroy over the past four years, and was most recently believed to be living in Fort Dodge.

Osborn is also known as Gail Wegman and Gail Espinoza.
