Duane Burtnett, of Webster City, makes apple cider using an antique cider press. Apples are cut in half, ground through the top and then pressed in the barrel, squeezing out cider that is then strained into jugs and served. Burtnett was making the cider outside the Woolstock City Hall during the quasquicentennial celebration in Woolstock.
