SPORTS: St. Edmond basketball Coach Dave Collison resigned to become head basketball coach and athletic director at Iowa Falls.

NEWS: Jeanine Schwendemann, of rural Lehigh, received a Charles A. Goetz scholarship for $2,000 to Iowa State University.

SPORTS: Sandy’s Distributing won a doubleheader against Stanhope, 4-0 and 3-2.
