EMMETSBURG — A new scholarship will be available for students starting in the 2017-2018 academic year at Iowa Lakes Community College.

Four Palo Alto County students will be selected to receive the $500 Invenergy Wind Technician Scholarship; students must be enrolled full-time in the Wind Energy Turbine and Technology program to be considered.

The scholarship application is online at iowalakes.edu — click on “Alumni & Foundations” and then “Apply for Scholarships” for instructions — and the application deadline is April 1. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. By completing the application, students are considered for all Iowa Lakes scholarships, based on their responses.
