Community Christian School will be having its student art show from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in the CCS gym, 2406 9 1/2 Ave S.

The come-and-go program will showcase the artwork completed this school year by kindergarten through eighth-grade students.

Students have studied multiple different artists and have demonstrated their creativity using a variety of materials.

Each student will have many works of art on display.

The artwork on display will include paintings, prints, sculptures, ceramics, collage, drawings, weaving and more. Some projects are individual and some are combined class projects.

The community is invited to attend this come-and-go event, enjoy some refreshments, and take time to admire the hard work and creativity of the CCS students.

Also on display at the Student Art Show will be “necktie creations” provided by CCS supporters and available for silent auction. The Necktie Novelty Tote Bags and Pillows have been created from donated neckties and sewn into useful and decorative items.
