Lehigh native earns media award at ICMA Conference
STORM LAKE — Megan Snyder, of Lehigh, was among the Buena Vista University students who took home several awards and other honors at the 2018 Iowa College Media Association conference held earlier this month in Des Moines.
Snyder, a senior strategic public relations major, and other students in BVU’s campus media organizations, received 30 awards in numerous categories. BVU digital media students also received the ICMA First Amendment Award and several sports broadcasting awards.
Snyder was awarded Best Use of Social Media: Third place for The Tack Online, “The Tack ONLINE — Social Media Sites.”
