Athletic physicals for current seventh- through twelfth-grade students will be held March 8, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fort Dodge Senior High.

Cost is $15. All Dodger student athletes are encouraged to attend.

A sports physical needs to be current and on file in the nurse’s office prior to the first day of practice of the athlete’s sport season.

Seniors out for spring and summer sports must have a physical that stays current through the end of their season.

Height, weight, heart rate and blood pressure checks will be conducted during lunch shifts at the high school on March 6, 7 and 8 and for seventh- and eighth-grade students at the middle school on March 5.

Students may also have these screenings taken before or after school the week of March 5.

All athletes will receive their physical form at the time of these initial screenings. The front of the form must be completed and signed by a parent, and brought with the athlete on March 8 in order for the physical to be completed.
