Meriwether dinner cancelled this week
Due to low participation commitments, the dinner rescheduled for Saturday at 6 p.m. has been cancelled. Summer has arrived and students and their parents are involved in other activities and summer plans.
“Young Scholar” certificates and recognitions will be given to their respective school buildings for distribution at the beginning of the school year in August. Those wishing to get their certificates/recognitions prior to then can call 576-6680 and make arrangements with the chairman of the H.C. Meriwether Board of Directors. Seniors, however, will be recognized at the luncheon at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ole Boston Restaurant on Central Avenue.
